Labour Law
The Labour Act regulates the relationship between employers and workers in Nepal. It covers employment contracts, working hours, leave, wages, workplace safety, social security contributions and the rules for ending employment. It replaced the Labour Act of 2048 and applies to almost every workplace, including small enterprises.
