Immigration Law
The Immigration Act regulates the entry, stay and departure of foreign nationals in Nepal. It creates the visa categories, sets conditions for tourist, business, study, work and residential visas, and gives the Department of Immigration powers to refuse entry, impose fines and deport. Detailed rules are found in the Immigration Rules and annual directives.
