Property Law
The Land Act is Nepal's foundational statute on land ownership, tenancy and land ceilings. It limits how much land a person may hold, protects tenants, and provides the framework under which Land Revenue Offices maintain ownership records. It works alongside the Civil Code and the Land Revenue Act for transfers.
