Senior Advocate · Litigation & Criminal Defence
Limited availabilityCourtroom advocate with two decades before the District, High and Supreme Courts of Nepal.
Rajesh has argued cases at every level of Nepal's judiciary for twenty-two years, from bail hearings at Kathmandu District Court to writ petitions before the Supreme Court. His practice covers criminal defence, commercial disputes and constitutional writs, and he has a long record in matters involving fraud, cheque dishonour under the Banking Offence Act and property-related criminal complaints.
He is a regular resource person at the National Judicial Academy on evidence and procedure, and he has written extensively on how the 2074 Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code changed day-to-day practice. Younger advocates at the firm rotate through his litigation team as part of their training.
Approach
Rajesh believes cases are won on preparation, not oratory. He maps the evidence, the procedural deadlines and the opposing side's likely arguments before the first hearing, and he tells clients frankly when settling is the better course.
